Fingerprints of the Gods is a book which will change your perception of science. Somebody said: protect science from scientists and unfortunately this is true. Graham Hancock with lancet of analytical mind makes vivisection of our present knowledge concerning ancient times. He shows many inconsistencies in our archeological and historical knowledge or similarities between distant cultures and civilizations. All this seems to be neglected by scientists due to some kind of scientific correctness. Author asks questions scientists don’t want to ask because answer would turn present knowledge upside down. Review will be completed.
Photo from a book: below we can see interior of the Great Pyramid of Giza – this corridor resembles rather big part of a huge device than something more, so to speak, normal. Nobody knows what it is for, there were no inscriptions, both floor and ceiling of the corridor have the same shape. It is impossible to find any usability explanation for this corridor, and this is only one of several mysterious parts of the Great Pyramid of Giza.
In the book we find many scientific and archeological anomalies which can be seen not only in Egypt. We still don’t know how the big pyramid in Giza was built. Archeologists assume that Egyptians built it, however this is rather impossible. We know and still can see their pyramids, with tons of inscriptions (the Great Pyramid had no inscriptions/hieroglyphs) and resembling now sand hills – which means that Egyptians were not that perfect builders. Anyway, not good enough to built the Great Pyramid.
The Great Pyramid in Giza is weird exception. No traces of building process exist, and they should be somewhere, especially for such huge pyramid. Strange thing is also, that long time ago, the pyramid had even, almost glossy and white sides – however the side material was stolen. All other Egyptian pyramids, where we can be 100% sure who, when and exactly how built them are far inferior if you compare craftsmanship.
It seems like Egyptians just found the pyramid, and taking it as example built other pyramids. And the other pyramids are much much worse than original. There is no scientifically acceptable answer who, when and how built the Great Pyramid of Giza. In Fingerprints of the Gods we will find many more very interesting and still unanswered questions. Reading the book it is easy to come to conclusion that sometimes science is used like communism or some religions, that is – for brain washing. For instance, it tooks years for scientists to accept scientifically proved fact that Sphinx has traces of weathering caused by prolonged rainfalls, that is water erosion. Logical conclusion was that heavy or long lasting rains were responsible for weathering vertical patterns was too big surprise for most scientists and Egyptologists believing the Sphinx was built 2500 BC. Weathering and geological analysis pushes age of Sphinx much further away into past than scientists are able to bear. To ages when – according to most scientists – was no advanced civilization, in fact no civilization at all. And on top of that are heavy rains in Egypt as reason of weathering. There are many evidences that Sphinx can be more that 10,000 years old. In fact, we have no evidences that Sphinx was built 2500 BC, except belief of archeologists.
Traces of extraordinary architectural craftsmanship, astronomical and geographical knowledge can be found all over the world. Graham Hancock puts all them together and describes in details in his book.
